Would you swim +200km through polluted waters to demand change?

That’s exactly what 8 elite athletes did, uniting with Surfers Against Sewage for the Thames Swim Against Sewage.

Their mission: to expose the scale of sewage pollution, and deliver a powerful collective call for change to Parliament.

Over 4 days (and 3 very dark nights) the non-stop relay covered 208km of the River Thames, starting at Lechlade in Gloucestershire, and ending at Westminster.

Myself and Simon Eaves filmed this epic journey - and we’re buzzing to share the short film later this autumn.

Everything (out of their control) that could go wrong, kinda went wrong. But those moments of chaos and uncertainty only made the experience more real, the mission more important… and the memories more lasting.

So until the film drops, here’s a few stills from the start and end of the race.
