I’m over the moon to announce that my business is now a member of 1% for the Planet.  Giving back, by donating 1% of my annual sales to a variety of environmental non profits around the world.

As a photographer and director, I'm driven to create work that inspires positive change, and do it in ways that are as sustainable as possible.

Beyond what I create and how it's done, I want to use my imagination, creativity and voice to positively impact our planet.

Setting my business and life up in this way is integral to that - which is why this commitment aligns perfectly with my values and vision for a future I want to see and experience.  I'm excited for everything I can contribute going forward, and for all that I'll learn myself along the way.

Some of the non profits we will be supporting this coming year include:

Trees For Citieshttps://www.treesforcities.org/

We are the only UK charity working at a national and international scale to improve lives by planting trees in cities.

We get stuck in with local communities to cultivate lasting change in their neighbourhoods – whether it’s revitalising forgotten spaces, creating healthier environments or getting people excited about growing, foraging and eating healthy food.

Big Sur Land Trust - https://bigsurlandtrust.org/. (One of my favourite places in the world to spend time in).

Healthy Lands: Conserving and caring for the magnificent natural landscapes, habitats and waterways of our region to ensure a sustainable future.

Healthy People: Providing opportunities for all who live in and visit Monterey County to experience the healthful benefits associated with access to parks and open spaces, fresh food, clean air and water, and a deep connection to nature.

Healthy Communities: Engaging in partnerships where conservation and civic participation increase community vitality, economic prosperity and social equity.

Aider Les Ours http://aiderlesours.org/

The mission of "Helping the Bears" is threefold: to improve the living conditions of captive bears by acting directly on their places of life, to raise local and international public awareness of the cause of Malaysian bears and to reintroduce young bears into the forest.

In Indonesia, Malaysian bears are threatened by deforestation, hunting and animal trafficking, but very few associations come to their aid and their distress goes unnoticed. Helping the Bears is a step forward to fill this void and change the fate of the Malaysian bears.

I'd love for my actions to inspire others to do the same in ways right for them, so please do get in touch and I can connect you with the lovely team at 1%, or just reach out to them directly.
