Becoming elite level and world class at our chosen craft, is the achievement of the very rare few… Something in itself I revere highly.

What someone at this level then does with the responsibility that accompanies their achievement... How they decide to act and help others. Well that takes it all up to the next level. Greatness on the field, greatness off it.

I’ve personally found it so inspiring to see Marcus’s work with Fareshare, coming together with them to help fight hunger in the nation's most vulnerable communities.

Seeing so many sports stars like Marcus use their voice and platforms to champion social and environmental causes is so rad.Hector Bellerin, Nneka Ogwumike, Naomi Osaka, Lebron James and Raheem Sterling but to name just a few from an increasingly long list. A trend that fills me with so much optimism.

We all have the capacity to positively influence, to give and contribute more. Let’s not sell ourselves short or underestimate how big an impact our own individual actions can have.
