As my understanding of sustainability continues to grow, I increasingly appreciate how many gifts Earth has given to me. 🌍

So an opportunity like this to give (in some little way) something back through my photography, is a blessing I’m grateful for. 😊Late last year, environmental NGOs including the Blue Marine Foundation and Transform Bottom Trawling Coalition, along with Patagonia Europe and marine biologist Inka Cresswell delivered a petition with of over 200,000 signatures to Defra. 

Urging the UK government to end bottom trawling in Marine Protected areas.Even though 35% of UK seas are designated as protected, destructive bottom trawling continues to devastate these delicate ecosystems.Collective action like this is crucial to protect the oceans, that let us remember, protect us everyday. 🌊
